Ok, Shannon. Here's what I did to make those collages on my blog:
Go to picasa. Choose the pics that you want. Click on collage. THen, choose for the type of collage to be picture pile. Then, if you want a color for your background you can do so by clicking on background or whatever that option is. You just play around with how you want your pics place by moving them with your mouse and expanding their size the same way. Hope this helps.
